Presented in a striking landscape format, Warships: World War II to the Present Day profiles 35 naval vessels from the past 100 years, including submarines, amphibious landing craft, aircraft carriers and destroyers. From famous World War II vessels such as the Bismarck and HMS Hood to today’s hi-tech naval technology such as the USS Ronald Reagan carrier and ‘Akula’ class submarine, each vessel is presented in a unique seven-view format, showing not only the left and right profiles, top and front views, but also the view from the rear, and also from below. The spectacularly detailed digital artworks, created in 3D then rendered as elevations, have never been published in book form before.
