About us

Who are Amber Books?

We are primarily a book packaging company: we create illustrated non-fiction books for adults and children and sell them to our publishing clients who then distribute them under their own imprints around the world. One of our areas of expertise is military history. We publish a range of military titles under our own Amber Books imprint (for more details, please contact our trade representatives, Casemate Publishers – for USA and Canada, please visit www.casematepublishing.com; for the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, please visit www.casematepublishers.co.uk.

We also publish a growing number of apps on the iOS and Android app stores, and are making many of our titles available as ebooks.

New titles

Our new titles include the Encyclopedia of Warfare volume (also available as individual ebooks), Vikings and two more titles in the SAS and Elite Forces Guide series. Our military history and technology list continues to grow and develop, including Chronology of World War II and Small Arms 1914–Present, and we also have two fantastic new titles for children on Predators and Spiders, Scorpions and Creepy Crawlies, and a great new Chinese-bound edition of The Prophet.

Don’t forget to take a look at the Tiptoe Books pages and catalogue, which give details of our growing list of children’s titles.

Our website

On this website you can browse our complete catalogue by subject, series, or title, take a look at this season's new books, download our current catalogues, or you can click on the link buttons to buy some of our titles, apps or ebooks. Don't forget to check back regularly to see our latest titles!

Buying one of our titles

We do not currently sell print copies of our book directly to the public on this website, but if you are interested in purchasing one of our titles, please either click on the relevant link button if available, otherwise they can be purchased in bookstores or ordered from online booksellers. If you would like to be kept informed of future titles and/or where they can be purchased, please subscribe to our newsletter via the link above, or email enquiries@amberbooks.co.uk.

We are in the process of making our titles available as ebooks - if you cannot see a 'buy ebook' link on the book page, it has not yet been converted. Please email us at editorial@amberbooks.co.uk if you would like a specific title to be available as an ebook, and we will try to prioritise it.
