Where can I find your latest books?

We have broadened our range of non-fiction titles this season, led by our fabulous Abandoned Places which shows locations around the world that have been left to decay untouched and unvisited for decades. We have added two new volumes in our best-selling Chinese-bound series Bushido: The Soul of Japan and Haiku, a collection of the classic short Japanese poems. For the musically-inclined, we have The Guitar Book while readers looking for a gruesome read can try The Instruments of Torture. Petrolheads can get their fix fromThe World's Greatest Cars.

We also have hilarious new titles in our gift series: Fat Cats that reveals some of the breath-taking skullduggery and excess of recent years; the peerless Pugs on Rugs and the handy sartorial guide that is Cats in Hats. For reference fans we have some heavyweight encyclopedias: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Space & Space Exploration, Kings and Queens of Europe, Animals Visual Encyclopedia, How the Body Works and the comprehensive The Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt.

Our children's range has also expanded, with a slew of mini encyclopedias on Bugs, Dinosaurs, Birds, Mammals, Marine Life, Human Body and Stars and Planets. There are two brand new titles on Warriors of the Ancient World and Warriors of the Medieval World.

We also have many more new titles for those interested in military history: over 600 pages of weapons in The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Weapons of World War II, the equally exhaustive Encyclopedia of Aircraft of World War II, and the latest in our World's Greatest series, The World's Greatest Submarines. We are also making five more classic military titles available again as flexibound editions. The titles are: SAS and Special Forces Fitness Training, SAS and Special Forces Self Defence Handbook , How to Fight Like A Special Forces Soldier , SAS and Special Forces Mental Toughness Training , and How to Pass the SAS and Special Forces Selection Course.

Which titles are available as ebooks?

Many of our titles are available to buy as ebooks – you can click on the links on the book pages to take you to your preferred store.

We are in the process of making more of our backlist and out of print titles available as ebooks - if you cannot see a 'buy ebook' link on the book page, it has not yet been converted. Please email us at editorial@amberbooks.co.uk if you would like a specific title to be available as an ebook, and we will try to prioritise it.

Do you publish apps?

Yes, we publish a number of apps on the iOS and Android app stores.

Where can I find your children's books?

They are listed on our Tiptoe Books pages and catalogue, which give details of our growing list of children’s titles, including Dinosaurs of the Jurassic World and beyond and Fantastic Fearsome Beasts.

Are you a book packager? Can I licence one of your titles? Do you do special sales?

Amber are also a book packaging company: we create books for adults and children and license them to our client publishers who then translate them if required and distribute them under their own imprints around the world. If you are a publisher and interested in licensing the rights to any of our titles, or a retailer looking for an exclusive edition or special sale, please email rights@amberbooks.co.uk.

Do you offer editorial and design services?

Amber Books has the resources and expertise to provide a complete editorial and design service for print and digital products. We work with publishing and non-publishing clients around the world creating a range of products from card continuity sets and partworks to books and internal corporate publications. We can create exciting new products from scratch, or simply give a fresh, contemporary look to existing material you already hold.
