Author details:

Brian Innes holds a BSc (Special) and MRSC, and spent some years in laboratory research before turning to writing and publishing. He is also a member of the Crime Writers’ Association, and is chairman of the judges’ panel for their annual Gold Dagger for non-fiction. He has written regularly on forensic matters for the weekly publication Real Life Crimes, and his most recent books include Bodies of Evidence – a broad-ranging survey of the historical development of forensic science – and Profile of a Criminal Mind.
