Author details:

Tony Gibbons is a full-time freelance writer and illustrator contributing to numerous publications worldwide. He has written and illustrated The Encyclopedia of Battleship and Warships and Navy Battles of the U.S. Civil War. Roger Ford is a specialist in military, naval, and aviation writing who has written for many publications. He was involved with the naval magazine Ships and the Sea, and has writer over 1200 collectible military trading cards. Rob Hewson is a London-based technical author, who specialises in maritime, aerospace, and defence matters. He runs his own consulting firm for the defence industry, compiling and interpreting data air, sea, and land warfare analysis. Robert Jackson is the author of over 80 books on military, aviation, naval and scientific subjects. He was defense and science correspondent for a major British newspaper publishing group. His expertise has led to books covering major studies of all aspects of individual campaigns and wars.
