Author details:

Gene Sculatti began writing on music and popular culture in the 1960s. Since then his work has appeared in numerous magazines including Rolling Stone and The Los Angeles Times. He is author of several books including The Catalog of Cool and San Francisco Nights: The Psychedelic Music Trip. Hamish Champ has written about the music and entertainment industries for a wide range of publications including Billboard and Music and Media and has also edited Music business International magazine. Peter Dodd, Justin Cawthorne, Chris Barrett and Dan Auty are music journalists with many decades experience writing about popular music and culture for magazines including Q, Melody Maker and Billboard.
